Volvo is one of the more predictable retrofit platforms once you have identified the head unit, because the three generations in our catalogue look distinctly different from the driver's seat. The difficulty is that the Sensus badge was applied to all of them, so a search by name does not narrow anything down.

Identify by the button stack and screen orientation

Earliest group — a landscape display with a substantial button stack below it, including a numeric keypad area. Menu design is the older Volvo layout with the characteristic centre stack.
Middle group — the switch to a portrait-oriented display with a much-reduced button count. This is the layout most people picture when they think of modern Volvo interiors.
Latest group — the portrait touchscreen evolution with fewer physical controls again and a more app-like interface.

Screen orientation is the fastest discriminator: a landscape screen points to the earliest group, portrait to the two later ones, and the button count separates those two.
