Frequently Asked Questions
Which Rolls-Royce models can be upgraded to wireless CarPlay?
Our Rolls-Royce decoders cover the RO-CIC, RO-NBT, RO-EVO head units, which in practice means most Rolls-Royce vehicles built between 2006 and 2018. That range includes Phantom and the rest of the models listed on this page. If your car is not listed, send us a photo of your screen and we will confirm.
How do I tell which Rolls-Royce head unit I have?
Check the navigation map version or the menu layout on your screen: RO-CIC (2006–2012), RO-NBT (2009–2015), RO-EVO (2015–2018). The build year alone is not reliable because Rolls-Royce phased these units in over overlapping years — the head unit generation is what determines the correct module.
Is the Rolls-Royce CarPlay retrofit plug-and-play, and does it damage the factory system?
For the Rolls-Royce retrofit it is a plug-and-play harness that connects behind the factory head unit — no cutting, no soldering and no permanent modification. You can remove it and return the car to stock, and the OEM screen, controller, steering-wheel buttons and factory camera keep working as before.
Do you supply Rolls-Royce CarPlay decoders wholesale or with my own brand?
Yes. Rolls-Royce modules are available at 10 pcs (mixed models OK) for stock orders, and private label with your logo, packaging and manual from 500 pcs per model. OEM firmware customisation (boot logo, UI layout, default language) is available from 1000 pcs per model.
