No. The Land Rover/Jaguar JR-1 (Bose) Wireless CarPlay Decoder connects between the factory head unit and the display, so the original screen, controller, steering-wheel buttons and OEM menu all stay in place. You switch into CarPlay and back with the factory controls — nothing is removed and nothing is coded.
