FAQ — Audi A8 CarPlay Retrofit

Which decoder module fits a Audi A8?

It depends on the model year and the factory head unit — Audi used different systems across generations. Check the Audi page or the Fitment Finder with your model and year, or send a photo of your head unit and we confirm within 12 hours.

Does the Audi A8 keep its factory menus after the retrofit?

Yes. The photos show CarPlay running as an additional layer on the untouched factory screen — the original menus, controller and steering-wheel buttons all stay fully functional.

Is the CarPlay connection wireless on the Audi A8?

Yes. The decoder provides wireless and wired CarPlay and Android Auto, pairing over dual-band 5 GHz WiFi with zero-latency performance for maps, media and phone calls.

Can I order the Audi kit wholesale?

Yes — from 10 pcs stock (mixed models OK), 500+ private label and 1000+ full OEM. Samples leave Shenzhen in 7–15 days by DHL/FedEx.
